2012-present: Medical Director of Alameda Health System (AHS), Oakland.CA.

Alameda Health Systems is one of the largest public health systems in the state of California. It acts a safety net for the residents of Alameda County (1.5 million people). Employed as a pediatrician with AHS for 25 years and currently also serves as the medical director of the Ambulatory of the AHS.

2004-Present: Elected to the Board of Directors, Washington Hospital -a multi-specialty hospital serving tri-cities of Fremont, Newark and Union City in California with a revenue exceeding 1.5 billion USD. As the member of the board, provided leadership for budgets, policies, strategic planning and human resource development. Some of the multi-specialty facilities at the hospital include Gammaknife, Robotics surgery, joint replacement, and cardiology.
2008-2011: Appointed to the board of directors of KIDANGO, a private, nonprofit agency providing child development program in Alameda, Santa Clara, and San Francisco Countries in Northern California
2005-2012: Appointed speaker for GSK (GlaxoSmithKline), Novartis and Merck on vaccine-preventable childhood diseases. Delivered several keynote lectures in the San Francisco bay area, focusing on Hepatitis B, Diphtheria, Pertussis, Tetanus, Polio, Rotavirus and Human Pappiloma Virus (HPV).
1995-2012: Pediatrician, Alameda County Health Services, Northern California; delivering pediatric care, well baby checks, and responsible for timely vaccine delivery. Single-handedly increased the vaccine uptake from 40% to 90% over the course of 3 years.
